It's noisy like Glazed Baby, but has some bluesy aspects swirling within.
No this has nothing to do with Sonic Youth either, which is what mostly comes up when searching for this. Definitely 'must have' shit.

GLAZED BABY - ATOMIC COMMUNISTS (1996)

Since we're on the subjects of fucking killer and top shelf noise rock bands, and making this a pretty badass little throwback Sunday, here's another I'd been meaning to post. Glazed Baby were a heavy noise rock with industrial tinges band from New Bedford, Massachusetts. If you like Distorted Pony, Unsane, Season to Risk, Cop Shoot Cop...all things noise rock basically...this is classic, essential, must-have stuff.  This is their 2nd full length. You come to this blog for goodies like this. Go on and get it.

Think those bands with a tinge of southern fried country twang. Still heavy and noisy.

GLAZED BABY / SEASON TO RISK SPLIT 7" (1995)

So I promised more Glazed Baby and I deliver. This split 7" single with Season to Risk is one badass chunky, slab 'o wax. Both bands cranking out heavy, ugly and noisy goodness that you're fixing for. That crazy sibling that you have locked away in the attic and won't let them into our 'people world' would totally dig this too.

GLAZED BABY - SQUEEZE THE TAIL, SUCK THE HEAD (1993)

I can already see that after this post, more Glazed Baby will have to grace the halls of staticfraction. So this was originally a 7". But the CDED came with more songs. Yay!
Noise / sludge / industrial dare I say?...type stuff from this 3 piece from back in the 90s. They have a similar vibe to Unsane, Cop Shoot Cop, Mama Tick, or any early Amrep. Riveting, unhinged guitar, pounding, thudding bass and crazed, maniacal drums.
Its weird how they found this picture of me after too much coffee, sugar, booze and cough medicine for their cover art. And this was before the days of Flickr. Aaahhhhhwooooo!
