KATASTROPHY WIFE - HEART-ON EP (2007)

Here's a heart to-find (ha see what I did there?) EP from Babes in Toyland's foxy uber-babe, Kat Bjelland's after-Babes project, Katastrophy Wife. I posted an LP a while back, of some newly reissued stuff, so check that out.
This is a rare, 4 song single, released on an Australian label, that consists of... the song, Heart On, 2 remixes of said song, and an Iron Maiden cover. I'm not a big fan of remixes, although the 'Metal Valve' remix has a Jon Spencer/Boss Hog/Pussy Galore vibe to it. So its doable. The last remix is just unnecessary. But the title track and Maiden cover are what you really want here. Plus, check out that cover. I mean...damn.

This is super hottie Kat Bjelland, singer/guitaristist from the rockin' Babes In Toyland and one of her post band after 'Babes', Katastrophy Wife.
They've kinda flown under the radar, with a bunch of stuff in the past 10 years or so.
This album was originally released in 2003, but 2014 finally gives us a proper reissue on Record Store Day.
Woo hoo! If you're into Babes in Toyland, Mudhoney, Nirvana, 90s grunge, flannels, you'll be wanting this.
