NOMOS / THE MEN - SPLIT EP (2010)

That last 'The Men' album I posted, got me thinking about this 6-song split with Nomos.
This was originally a cassette release...which is funny cuz the label is called Vinyl Rites.
So The Men are still cranking out abrasive noisy rock at this point, before the moved to a more garage-y sound. Nomos are pretty much straight up hardcore.

I'm sure you guys are familiar with The Men. They're kinda big(ish).... As in popular.
Not sure about physical size of the members, so I apologize if they're watching their weight.

Anyway, before they were big and famous garage rockers, they were a knock down drag out noise rock band.
I posted their first EP a while back on the blog, but this is their actual first full length. They self-released this originally with a small run of pressings. But later some smart folks over at Deranged Records realized how goddamn good this was and gave it the re-issue treatment. Good for them, good for us!

THE MEN - WE ARE THE MEN (2009)

So these guys are doing pretty well making a name for themselves, their newer stuff is definitely more 'friendly' to the masses. But this is their first, 4 song ep, and its raw, over-distorted, blown-out, ear-blastin' ass-kickin noise punk rock.
The vinyl of this was super limited... 300 or something crazy like that. Since its tough to find, I thought I'd bring a big fat smile to your face so big, your ears will be on top of your head.
