BASIC CABLE - I'M GOOD TO DRIVE (2013)

Chicago’s booze fueled Basic Cable feature members of Heavy Times and Running. Their sloppy, blown out guitars, and punishing rhythms make for a noisy, punk-as-fuck attack that mashes your ass and tingles your dingles. The shouted, nasally, monotone, snarled vocals, is reminiscent of punk classics like Jello Biafra or John Staab from Government Issue. Imagine Pissed Jeans, Metz, Cows and Fang shotgunning cigarette-butt filled beers on a 16 hour pub crawl. Channeling bad vibes, and worse hangovers, this is a limited release (300 pressed. 100 on beer colored wax). One more for the road. Cheers!
