LABEL SPOTLIGHT - RADIO IS DOWN... (2000s)

So way back in the day…labels were more consistent with their sound and releases…you knew pretty much exactly what you were getting from labels like Amrep, Touch and Go, Sub Pop (early years), or even Epitaph. Nowadays, labels carry varieties of different types of bands, so its not always easy to know if something is gonna float your boat.

Radio is Down is consistent. Even though the label is somewhat dormant, you can still pick up goodies from 'em. And I suggest you do. I've posted kickass stuff already from Replicator and Ex Wives, but thought I'd throw a few more titles your way. Most of it of the loud and noisy variety that you know and love here.
Bhava, Destro and Quarterhorse are on the chest thumping, louder than punk side. Okker gets a little indie rock, and Big  Box fits into the noisy punk pit. All great albums. And like I said, stop by and buy some shit from them.
