IRK / WREN SPLIT (2015)

Hey its Irk! From Leeds, UK. I've featured those guys here on the blog before. Right here. Good shit.
So this is their newest recording, a 7-song split with a band called Wren from London, UK. Yes!

Irk continues with the straight ahead heavy and crushing noise rock, similar to KEN mode, or Daughters. 4 songs by them, although one is a spoken word over textural soundscapey kinda deal.

Wren play a more progressive/experimental, quiet with heavy sound ping pong...very similar to Isis...er, excuse me...Isis the Band. Don't want anyone coming after me... Sheesh that was close. 3 slabs of rage from them.

And 2 link choices below! I suggest trying them both.
