LUSTRE KING - SHOOT THE MESSENGER (1999)

Experimental and mostly instrumental meld of straight-up spine-tingling body-shaking rock and ambient moods, loops, and encircling blips beeps and screams. Math rock infused science, combining beautiful noise and all-out aggressive indie rock from Chicago's now defunct Lustre King.
These guys were around in the 90s and put out a few releases before moving on to other things. Mainly Mike Lust has a recording studio (Phantom Manor) and records lots of bands I'm sure you've heard. He also plays in Tight Phantoms as well. This record is pure genius.
